We invite you to an online discussion with the Slovak Ambassador to NATO Peter Bátor. Together, we will review the developments in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation over the past year. We will look at the accomplishments the Alliance has achieved, but also at the challenges it still faces and has not yet found a solution to. We will also reflect on how the Vilnius Summit in summer contributed to transatlantic security and which milestones have already been achieved ahead of next year's annual summit in Washington. In fact, 2024 will mark the 75th anniversary of the Alliance's founding, and Slovakia will mark 20 years since joining NATO.
Pozývame vás na online diskusiu so slovenským veľvyslancom pri NATO Petrom Bátorom. Spolu s ním zhodnotíme vývoj v Severoatlantickej aliancii v ostatnom roku. Pozrieme sa na úspechy, ktoré Aliancia zaznamenala, ale aj výzvy, ktorým stále čelí a zatiaľ v nich nenašla riešenie. Zreflektujeme aj to, ako letný summit vo Vilniuse prispel k transatlantickej bezpečnosti a ktoré míľniky sa pred budúcoročným výročným summitom vo Washingtone už podarilo dosiahnuť. Aliancia totiž v roku 2024 oslávi 75. výročie od založenia a Slovensko si zasa pripomenie 20. rokov od vstupu do NATO.
