The goal of the project is to contribute to the debate on the foreign political, economic and other influence of (semi-)authoritatian regimes to the Central Europe as a gate to the whole European Union, while seeking for innovative tools to minimize their leverage in the region.

Project activities are primarily targeted at experts and aspiring professionals in international relations, with a strong interest in authoritarian regimes' policies and their consequences, particularly (but not exclusively) those focusing on China, Russia and Turkey, as well as the CEE region; policy-makers and new members of the National Council of the Slovak Republic; diplomats and practitioners of diplomacy; journalists and digital/social media experts, who will be able to find further sources of expertise among the participants; and academia researchers within the fields of political science and international relations.

The project activities run from April 2020 through July 2020 and are carried out by o.z. EuroPolicy, in cooperation with the Prague Office of Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung.
