I am very concerned about what is happening in Slovakia today, but Robert Fico has shown himself to be a master of words. He can say anything to anyone, whether to the European Commission or to the Russian propaganda television, but then he lets things run as before - for example, the production of armaments for Ukraine. It is a very strange, almost schizophrenic position, Pavel Havlíček from the Association for International Affairs (AMO) tells EURACTIV Slovakia.

Few people realise how powerful minority stress can be. I know educated Roma people who do not want to find a job in the majority environment - they have never been there and are simply afraid of it. That is why it is terribly important for Roma children to be educated in a mixed environment. There they learn not only science, but also how the whole society works, explains Vlado Rafael, director of eduRoma, to Euractiv Slovakia.

Scholar Lucia Berdisová was dismissed from the Judicial Council by the President Peter Pellegrini. In the podcast, she says she tried to bring a meaningful confrontation to the unit, for instance, she tried to get the aspirants to think about ethical dilemmas. According to her, the Council under the new leadership decides quickly and without critical discussion.
